How do I invest with Amtaar?

Quick answer

Through the Amtaar app: download it, choose a property, select the number of shares you want, transfer the amount by bank transfer, and upload a photo of the transfer receipt. Once the transfer is confirmed, your shares appear in your account, and your ownership contract follows within about a month.

Step by step, inside the app

Everything happens in the Amtaar app. Download it from the App Store or Google Play, create your account and complete the identity verification. You can then browse the properties currently on offer.

Choose a property, select how many shares you want, and pay by bank transfer. Upload a photo of the transfer receipt in the app so your payment can be matched to your order.

After you transfer

Transfers are usually confirmed the same business day or the next. Once confirmed, your shares appear in your account. Your common-ownership share-sale contract, which states your exact percentage of the property, follows within about a month.

From there you receive your share of the rent on the fixed quarterly distribution dates: 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October.

Why this is fractional ownership

You are not buying a whole unit. You are buying shares in one specific, income-generating commercial property, so you can start with a far smaller amount and still own part of a real asset, with your percentage documented in a signed contract.
