Rewards and referrals in the Amtaar app

Invite friends to Amtaar and earn rewards at each stage: when they sign up, when they verify their identity, and when they invest. Rewards go into your rewards balance and can be used towards your next investment.

In short

Open the Rewards tab and tap “Invite your friends and earn rewards” to share your personal invite link.
When a friend signs up with your link, you each receive EGP 100.
When your friend completes identity verification, you receive EGP 500. When their investment is completed, you receive 1% of the amount they invested.
Rewards are added to your Rewards Balance. You can use them to pay for shares at checkout, but you cannot withdraw them.
Sign-up and verification rewards are capped at EGP 10,000 per calendar year. The 1% investment reward has no cap.

Part 1

Invite friends with your link

1Open the Rewards tab.
2Tap “Invite your friends and earn rewards” and share your link by WhatsApp, SMS or any app. The same button also appears on property pages.
3Your friend opens the link, downloads Amtaar and signs up with their mobile number. They can also enter your referral code when they sign up.

Each friend can be referred once, by one person, and you cannot refer yourself.

Part 2

What you earn, and when

Your friend signs up: You receive EGP 100, and your friend receives EGP 100 as a welcome reward.
Your friend verifies their identity: You receive EGP 500 when they complete the face check with their national ID.
Your friend invests: You receive 1% of the share amount they invested (excluding fees) when their investment is completed. For example, a friend who invests EGP 100,000 earns you EGP 1,000.

Sign-up and verification rewards are capped at EGP 10,000 per person per calendar year. The 1% investment reward is not capped. Each reward is paid once per friend.

If a friend’s order is later cancelled or refunded, the 1% reward for it is reversed.

Part 3

Track your rewards and referrals

The Rewards tab shows:

My Balance: Your current rewards balance in EGP.
Registered, Verified, Purchased: How many friends signed up with your link, how many completed identity verification, and how many have invested.
Referred Friends: Each friend you invited and the stage they have reached.
Your Vouchers: Any reward vouchers you have.

The green Total Rewards card in your Portfolio shows the same balance and your number of referrals.

Part 4

Use your rewards to invest

1Choose a property and the number of shares, then tap Invest.
2On the checkout screen, turn on Use Rewards Balance. It shows how much you have available.
3Your rewards reduce what you pay. Pay the rest by bank transfer, InstaPay or from your wallet cash.

Rewards also count in your wallet’s Total Balance, as Rewards Balance. Only Available Cash can be withdrawn; rewards are for investing.

If an order paid partly with rewards is cancelled, the rewards are returned to your balance.

Common questions

How does the Amtaar referral program work?

Share your invite link from the Rewards tab. You earn EGP 100 when a friend signs up, EGP 500 when they verify their identity, and 1% of what they invest. Your friend also gets EGP 100 when they sign up.

Where do I find my invite link?

In the Rewards tab, tap “Invite your friends and earn rewards”. The same button appears on property pages.

Can I withdraw my rewards?

No. Rewards can only be used to pay for shares. Only your wallet’s Available Cash can be withdrawn to your bank.

How do I use my rewards?

At checkout, turn on Use Rewards Balance. The rewards are deducted from the amount you pay.

Is there a limit on referral rewards?

Sign-up and verification rewards are capped at EGP 10,000 per calendar year. The 1% reward on your friends’ investments has no cap.

What does my friend get?

EGP 100 in their rewards balance when they sign up with your link, which they can use towards their first investment.

Why does a friend show as Registered but not Verified?

They have signed up but not yet finished identity verification. Your EGP 500 reward is paid when they complete the face check.

What does Commission mean on my rewards card?

On the Portfolio rewards card, Commission shows the rewards you have already used.
