FAQOwnership & Selling

What documents prove my ownership?

Quick answer

A common-ownership share-sale contract for the specific unit is signed between you and Amtaar, stating your percentage of the property. The paper contract is delivered by courier within about a month of purchase (inside Egypt; a signed and stamped PDF can be sent if you are abroad), and a digital contract is coming soon. Ownership is registered through the Amtaar company that owns the property.

Your ownership contract

You sign a common-ownership share-sale contract with Amtaar for the specific unit you invested in. It states your percentage of the property.

Common ownership means you own an undivided percentage of the whole unit, not a particular room or floor. Your share of the rent and of any gain follows that percentage.

How the contract reaches you

Inside Egypt, the paper contract is delivered by courier within about a month of purchase. If you are abroad, a signed and stamped PDF can be sent instead. A digital contract is coming soon.

How ownership is held

Ownership is registered through the Amtaar company that owns the property, and your contract documents your share of it.
