How are shares priced on the secondary market?
Quick answer
On the latest valuation report of the independent, FRA-certified valuer. When shares are sold after the first year, their price is based on the property’s most recent valuation. If Amtaar finds the buyer, a commission of 0.5% from the seller and 0.5% from the buyer applies; selling to a buyer you found yourself is free.
An independent price
Shares on the secondary market are priced on the latest report of the independent valuer certified by the FRA. The same valuation applies to the seller and the buyer, so neither side has to guess what a share is worth.
How it connects to the valuation schedule
You can sell after the first year, and the first revaluation also happens after the first year. From then on the property is revalued every six months, so a sale uses a recent valuation.
What a sale costs
If Amtaar finds the buyer, the commission is 0.5% from the seller and 0.5% from the buyer. If you bring your own buyer, Amtaar transfers the ownership free of charge.
